Falling In Love Again
Sculpture, 2020, 1/5 cast 2024
H45½ x L78 x W39 cm (H18 x L30¾ x W15 3/8 inches)

“Originally inspired by Rubens’ Prometheus Bound painting, I transformed the composition to have the eagle make eye contact with the human, referring to the multiple symbolic meanings of the ancient and contemporary interactions between human being and nature, or between the realm of the divine, spirituality and the earthly. The eagle has thus a special meaning to people in many countries in the East and West. The title symbolizes the continuous challenge to work on the relationship human - nature.”
